A NetLink-ID is a unique personal identifier which is used as your "username" for various services provided by the University of Victoria.
University Systems recommends that all UVic students, faculty, and staff register for a NetLink-ID. Many systems and services use the NetLink-ID as a means of access to those systems and services. Your NetLink-ID does not guarantee access to all services but only those for which you are authorized.
Some examples of services which require NetLink-IDs are "My Page (which provides access to course registration, e-mail, online groups, and much more)", the central UVic e-mail system, the UVic Library online resources, Blackboard and Moodle learning systems, Exchange Calendar, and access to a number of student computer labs to name a few.
Your NetLink-ID will also be the key to access future electronically-enhanced services at UVic.
